These days students from Masafer Yatta at Palestinian universities’ are on winter break. This is when we return to you for help in financing the Masafer students’ studies next semester, just as you helped us finance them in this past one. Our donation page is here, with information on how to donate from various countries. A semester at the Polytechnic University in Hebron costs about 1,000 dollars, whereas the cost of a semester at the Yatta University is about 300 dollars. Any donation, however, may be made that would help us cover the inclusive costs of those students who have not been adopted.
You might get an idea of the great importance your aid has for the students by reading the student letters below. Many of them share with you their hardships as well as their hopes and aspirations. To the students’ own letters, we add our deepest gratitude to those of you who have donated and mean to do so again for this noble cause. Facing the ongoing deterioration of the Masafer inhabitants’ conditions, about which we report on a regular basis – your support has even greater significance.

ABDULRAHMAN
With all the gratitude and appreciation in my heart, I write this letter to express how deeply your support has impacted my life and the lives of many others. You have granted me the opportunity to continue my studies in veterinary medicine, a dream I am passionately striving to achieve.
Had it not been for your generous help, I would not have been able to pursue my education, as I lacked the financial means to cover my university expenses. Your assistance came as a lifeline at a time when I was in desperate need of hope and continuity.
Your support is not just financial; it is a light that has illuminated my path and a trust that has inspired me to believe in the kindness still present in this world. You have given me greater motivation to become a better person and to work tirelessly to serve my community and repay your kindness in every possible way.
I promise to make the most of this opportunity with dedication and to be worthy of the responsibility with which you have entrusted me. May God bless you with goodness, happiness, and a light that continues to brighten your lives and those around you.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Abdulrahman
MA’AMOUN
Peace, mercy and blessings of God.
I am Ma’amoun Shaher Ahmed Muhammed. I am a university student and I study technology at Al-Quds Open University.
Thank you for your support to us, the students of Massafer Yatta. Your support enables us to register at Al-Quds Open University and study there to obtain a university degree and complete our B.A. studies. Thanks to you and thanks to your support for us, we will be able to develop our scientific goals and achieve our dreams.
I am a student who lives in Masafer Yatta in Jinba village. Since my birth, I suffer from the occupation and the settlers who attack us in our place of living and the place of our ancestors and our families, and harass us in many ways. For example – when I was studying at Al-Fakhit School, which is a kilometer and a half away from Jinba, we used to go by the
Ministry of Education car, but the army and the settlers made us troubles, and some days we could not go to school because of that. But despite the difficulties, we will remain in our land, and we will not let them take it from us.
At the end of my message, I thank you very much for your support.
May Allah’s peace, mercy and blessings be upon you!
With respect,
Ma’amoun.
HIBA
May Allah’s peace, mercy and blessings be upon you!
I am the student Hiba Shaher Ahmed Muhamed, daughter of Shaher Ahmad from Masafer Yatta (Jinba). I am a student at Hebron University. I study political science. At the beginning of my message to you, I would like to thank you very much for your help in completing my university studies in the current difficult circumstances. I have a strong
determination to complete my education and achieve my dreams. I hope to be one of the innovators in various academic fields, trying to overcome obstacles and prove myself in society. This may require support for me because I live in a poor area far from the life of the city, a place where access to the university and the ability to pay the university tuition fees is
very difficult. I felt the weight on my father of university costs, especially in light of the war, when livelihood has stopped and settler attacks at checkpoints and the Israeli army have completely disrupted movement, affecting my school life.
And I am sure that you will help me.
“May you always be safe”,
Hiba

WASIM
In the name of God, the merciful and compassionate,
To all who support me, I turn to you with all gratitude and appreciation for the support and help you have given me throughout my nursing studies at the Polytechnic University in Hebron.
The fact that you stood by me and supported me financially had a great impact on the success of my academic career so far. Thanks to you, I am now coming to the end of my first semester, and I feel proud and satisfied with my academic achievements. And I can only express my deep appreciation for this important support.
I hope that you will help me again and continue your financial support next semester as well, because this will have a great impact on my continued academic achievements and success.
And I promise you that I will invest my utmost efforts to take full advantage of this opportunity and be worthy of your support.
Thank you for your continued support, and I pray that the Holy One, blessed be He, will pay you a good reward. With great respect and appreciation,
Wasim
HADEEL
My name is Hadeel Ali Ibrahim Nu’man
I live in Massafer Yatta in the village Jinba.
I am 23 years old. I study mathematics at Al-Quds Open University. I have completed 3 years out of 4 years of bachelor’s degree.
We here in Masafer Yatta face a lot of difficulties and challenges caused by the occupation. Among it the ongoing blockade that has made life in the Masafer almost impossible due to a lack of food, water and other basics of life…
The hands of the occupation also confiscate land, cut trees, demolish houses, and make all these lands for military training.
There are restrictions on movement, which has increased poverty, and lack of enough money to complete my education in the last year.
Palestinian suffering is a global humanitarian issue that requires the intervention of the international community to achieve justice.
In conclusion, I thank you for helping me in the first quarter of 2024 to pay fees, and I ask you to help me in the second chapter so that I can complete what is left for me to accomplish my first degree.
With much love, Hadeel.
BARA’AH
I study political studies and English.
I am writing you this letter of thanks and gratitude for your continued support, and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to you and everyone who supported me and each of my fellow students. I pledge to do what I can to be the fruit of this support, and in the future, I will be able to help students who are in dire need. You really made a difference in my life.
Best wishes, Bara’ah.
